Your original comment says that “‘black’ is not African American. What do you call ‘black’ europeans then? African European?” The term African-American is a mixed bag. There are people from Africa who come to live here and become Americans who feel more entitled to the term “African American” than American-born black people. I don’t necessarily disagree with this line of thinking. I just see both sides: one came voluntarily, the other did not.

I still don’t think we’re saying the same thing, but sorry if it came off more snippy than what you intended.
