This is right up there with the head nod. Black women understand this in a way that can be seen from an intimate glance to a casual glance. We worry about our brothers, fathers, grandfathers, cousins, even men on the street that happen to catch our attention. My guess is the lady on the train could have been thinking this about you. We kinda have to be in a state of denial so we do not worry ourselves to death.
