The sarcasm from this post is dripping all over my laptop. I’m sending you my GeekSquad bill once this mess is fixed. (Funny post! I never used Slack until I started working with Upwork clients, two of which who insisted on using it instead of just email or Upwork messaging. Although I understand the reasons to put all freelancers on one particular messaging board, I still haven’t figured out the #everyone board where they just endlessly chat all day long while working. I figured out a great way to exclude myself from mindless chatter though. I started billing for every minute someone had me in a chatroom that wasn’t necessary. Just like that, the messages were magically straight to the point without all the filler. Voila! You’re welcome.
