Sometimes people do stuff that’s so illogical that you’re more dumbfounded than mad. I wouldn’t even know what to say if someone showed up at my house before 6 a.m. Did he even have a good excuse? Smartphone upside down? Something?!

My latest annoyance is people on Freecycle who take the time to post in the “wanted” section for things that they really need. One lady wanted 5 lb free weights. I responded to her and let her know I had pilates balls that I barely use because I already have free weights and a few other exercise options. She asked if she could come by on Saturday (four days from the email). I told her because of the amount of no-shows I’ve dealt with to contact me the day of to let me know when she was coming. She said she understood. Two weeks later and nothing. Now why would you bother posting things you want for FREE to not come get them?

I would understand these folks more if they were paying for something and just didn’t have the cash. Life happens. Bills do too. It’s the people on Freecycle and the free section of Craigslist that always blow my mind.
