I’m not particularly sure he learned anything from it. I ended up quitting the job after being completely exhausted with him and my immediate boss, who reported to him. Two peas in an unproductive pod. Oddly enough though, when I turned in my two weeks notice, he was the first person to say, “Is there something I can do to get you to stay?” All I kept thinking was, “There was something you could’ve done — a year ago.” Now I’ve tapped out. I lost a lot of money by quitting, but I have yet to miss the job or the money from it. Some things are just not worth the price.
