Imagine you’re making dinner after a long day and you ask your partner what they want and they reply by saying “Whatever,” “I don’t care,” or the one that really drives my wife nuts, “Up to you.” It wouldn’t make you feel very visible, right?
I was with you all the way up until this one. When I say “whatever,” I literally don’t care and am pretty flexible about whatever the choice is. Now if the issue is someone saying “whatever” when they really have a meal, memory or motto in mind, OK, I get it. But sometimes it really is an easy peasy moment and not worth the argument.
I kept expecting “Get Over It” to show up on your list. Now that is the one that will make me scream.
