I have never ever heard nor said this about a mother. As an African-American woman, I can’t even count five grown women in my age group who I personally know who aren’t mothers already. I wouldn’t dare say this; it’s too common. I’m a rarity as a woman who has zip zilch interest in being anyone’s mother. The only time I’ve ever heard the term “breeder” was from an African-American man on OK Cupid who described biracial children this way. I was disgusted, cursed him out and told him we need not speak further.
