I 100 percent agree with this assessment. But this is also my issue with hiring managers who want you to take multiple tests. If tests take more than 30 minutes and start feeling like real work for no pay, it makes me lose interest in the job. You’ve already let this person know that they’re not up to par. Every single job I have been hired for is one in which there weren’t a whole bunch of tests and multiple interviews, and that’s over a 20-year period. Anytime someone makes me go through hoops, I tend to opt out. I know that makes me seem inexperienced, but it’s frustrating to do all that stuff for someone to go “thank you, but no.”
