Fitbit considers it exercise, and I damn sure take advantage of that as my goal for four times per week. Every Sunday, I mop, sweep and dust my whole place, and clean my entire bathroom. I call it “Sweep Sundays” although I’m doing more than sweeping. There are more Sundays that I don’t want to do it than those that I do, but I’ve been doing this for years. I think I tried to slack off once or twice, and my conscious got the best of me. Once you make something a habit, you can’t even get to the point where you don’t know where to start. As far as you and that bathroom, you are the real MVP. It just looks like Barkeeper’s Friend would be the only way to save that tub.
When I first moved into my condo, there were a zillion scratches in the toilet. It looked like a cat lost her mind on the porcelain. I thought, “I’m going to have to buy and install a new toilet. Ugh!” I looked up a whole bunch of cleaning techniques online that all told me to use a pumice stone, but the warnings said I could end up with more scratches. One person after possibly an hour of searching said Barkeeper’s Friend, I used it and I’ve been plugging that stuff ever since.
