Either he’s completely been in a bubble while 17 out of every 10,000 people are homeless in the United States (or 552,830) or just didn’t give a damn. Whichever one it is, your next line is so on point. That’s why when people ask me “How are you doing?” in a somber tone, my response is, “I’m cool.” Minus not going outside in questionably warm weather for Chicago (give or take the day), the hustle is pretty much the same for me. Honestly, I got more work because people are staying inside and hiring freelancers more — and that’s kinda messed up that WFH folks are getting an advantage over those who work outside in the physical world. Capitalism leaves much to be desired. Not the biggest fan of socialism, but this is the area where it has its perks.
