Been there! Although I wrote a childless post and have not had any insulting comments, a man tried to talk to me in Starbucks and made a similar comment. He told me it was “embarrassing” and “disappointing” to not want kids. I told him he could get up from my table. He was cool for the first 20 minutes that he invited himself over.

He kept insisting on getting my number and I smiled. I gave him a fax number connected to a landline I barely use, and I turned that abandoned fax machine on as soon as I got home. Every time that fax machine went off, I laughed. He tried at least 5x to get through. Disappointing, my childless arse!
